About Simon
Simon Hodge is majoring in Digital Media Production at Jacksonville State University in Alabama.
While at Jacksonville State, Simon produced several audio productions, such as podcasts, news spots, ad spots, and three different weekly radio shows. The first radio show was a general nerdy pop culture show, and the second was about all things WWE. The most recent show, called “Hodge Podge” is about comic book media, including a segment called “Villain of the Week,” where he looks at the history of a different comic book villain every week. He is familiar with programs such as Adobe Audition and Audacity.
He also produced video productions, including news segments and commercials for local businesses, such as Apothecary Drafthouse in Jacksonville, Alabama. He is well acquainted with Canon DSLR cameras and Adobe Premier Pro.
Simon is also a Creative Writing minor. He has written many short stories, as well as a stage play, a screenplay for a television pilot, and an unpublished novel, segments of all of which are in his portfolio. He prefers to write in a pulpy, adventure tone or pseudo-horror. He has also written in more informative styles, such as a scripts explaining and reviewing movies, TV shows, books, games, and comics.
